The benefits of Yoga

During the Holidays I had the blessing of having my Mom and Sister visit. Though it can be hectic at times due to our passionate personalities, I practiced Mindfulness by staying focused. I lived each moment in the Present, by not worrying what might go wrong or what will happen next. Believe me, it was hard to do, and a few times I lost my calm. For this reason, I suggested we practice breath control and meditation. The following day I suggested practicing some Yoga poses. By the second week, they looked rejuvenated, living in the Present moment with a focus on proper form and breathing. A few days later my Mom experienced her “AHA” moment then she laughed with joy when she noticed that she can climb the stairs without holding the handrails. She experienced an amazing improvement in such a short time… You may too benefit if you put your energy and mind into it!
